Top CEE funding rounds closed in September 2026

September brought one of the CEE's largest funding rounds of 2026, as Bulgarian spacetech company EnduroSat raised $205 million and crossed a $1 billion valuation. FintechOS and Veridion followed with $28 million and $20 million, while smaller rounds spanned defence, space, AI software, fintech, and biotech. 

Here are the CEE funding rounds announced during the month, from largest to smallest.

EnduroSat, $205M funding round

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Founded in: 2015
Total funding received: $383.8M
Recent funding sources: Riot Ventures, Atreides Management, European Innovation Council Fund, GV, Founders Fund, House Capital, Lux Capital, Omnes Capital, Giant Ventures, Emphatic Capital, and Endeavor Catalyst

EnduroSat develops standardised satellites and infrastructure for operating satellite constellations. The company raised $205 million in September to expand manufacturing of its larger FRAME satellites, establish a US production facility, and develop its European space and defence infrastructure. The investment values the business at more than $1B.

FintechOS, $28M in equity and debt financing

Total funding received: nearly $179M, including the latest equity and debt package
Recent funding sources: Bek Ventures, IFC, Cipio Partners, Molten Ventures, and Santander CIB

FintechOS develops software that helps banks and insurers create and manage financial products without replacing their existing core systems. Its new financing will support US expansion, strengthen its European business, and scale delivery of its AI-native platform. Existing shareholders supplied the equity, while Santander CIB provided a senior debt facility.

Veridion, $20M Series A

Founded in: 2019
Total funding received: $27.5M
Recent funding sources: Hoxton Ventures, Underline Ventures, OTB Ventures, GapMinder, Day One Capital, and LAUNCHub Ventures

Veridion uses AI to collect and update business information for procurement, insurance, and market intelligence. Its Series A round will support product development, team expansion, and international growth as the company scales its database of businesses and commercial activity worldwide.

Creem, €5M seed round

Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Founded in: 2025
Total funding received: €7M
Recent funding sources: Inovo VC, Practica Capital, Antler, Markus Villig, Timmu Tõke, Kaspar Tiri, Adam Jafer, and Fryd Wiatrowski

Creem provides payment, billing, and tax-compliance infrastructure for software businesses, including AI-native companies. Its new seed funding will support Creem 2.0, with tools for agent-based billing, international compliance, and payouts, alongside further development of its commercial infrastructure.

Occam Industries, €3.8M funding round

Location: London, the UK, and Kyiv, Ukraine
Founded in: 2025
Total funding received: €7M
Recent funding sources: North Ventures, Sparkmind, Grenadyr, Antler, Presto Tech Horizons, TYR, and Freedom Fund

Occam Industries develops software that gives drones autonomous navigation and guidance capabilities. Its new €3.8M round will support further development and deployment of its autonomy technology and expansion of its engineering operations in Kyiv.

Blackswan Space, €2.5M seed round

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Founded in: 2019
Total funding received: €3.2M

Blackswan Space develops autonomous navigation technology that enables spacecraft to approach and operate near other objects in orbit. Its €2.5M seed round will support in-orbit demonstrations planned for 2027, commercialisation of its rendezvous and proximity operations technology, and expansion into the US market.

DOD Solution, $2.1M pre-seed round

Location: Estonia and Ukraine
Founded in: 2023
Total funding received: Not disclosed
Recent funding sources: Angel One Fund, Better Angle, Defence Builder Fund, Network VC, Newfund, UAID Fund, WildField Ventures, 4C Next Holding, Draganfly, and business angels

DOD Solution develops AURA, an onboard computing and AI system that helps drones operate where satellite navigation is unavailable or disrupted. Its pre-seed funding will support next-generation hardware, manufacturing, AI development, and integration with drone platforms, alongside expansion into NATO markets.

EnforceShield, €1.7M seed round

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Founded in: 2024
Total funding received: €1.7M

EnforceShield automates intellectual property enforcement, helping businesses identify infringements, validate claims, and manage takedowns. Its €1.7M seed round will fund further development of the platform and expansion in the US market.

Science4Beauty, €1.6M funding round

Founded in: 2020
Total funding received: €1.6M

Science4Beauty develops peptide-based ingredients for skincare, including a platform based on conotoxins. Its €1.6M investment will support commercial expansion, production, and further research as the company brings its biotechnology into international beauty markets.

TesterArmy, $1.2M pre-seed round

TesterArmy develops AI agents that test applications by navigating them like users, reducing the need for manually written testing scripts. The company raised $1.2M in pre-seed funding for its approach to automated software quality assurance, which can check user journeys without requiring access to an application's source code.

bilt.me, $700k pre-seed round

bilt.me develops an AI-native platform that turns natural-language instructions into mobile applications for iOS and Android, including backend and payment functionality. Its pre-seed investment will support product development and international expansion as the company helps users build and commercialise mobile applications.

Kyndred, €500k pre-seed round

Kyndred develops AI companions that combine animated characters, voice interaction, and persistent memory. Its pre-seed round will support additional companions beyond its initial character, Maya, alongside AI engineering, product development, and growth.

Robutler, $400k 

Location: Ukrainian-founded, based in Los Gatos, the US
Founded in: 2025
Total funding received: $400k in disclosed institutional investment
Recent funding sources: ZAS Ventures, through Fund I and Fund II

Robutler develops a shared platform of collaborative applications for documents, design, video, engineering, and other tasks. According to Vector's report on the investment, ZAS Ventures became its first investor. The platform lets creators adapt existing applications and share revenue with the developers whose work they reuse, while connecting applications with AI assistants.

M-Fly, undisclosed funding round

Location: Ukraine
Founded in: 2023
Total funding received: undisclosed after this round; $1.4M previously raised, including grants
Recent funding sources: MITS Capital, Freedom Fund, Gardar, and an undisclosed investor

M-Fly develops stabilisation and guidance technology for unmanned aerial, maritime, and ground systems. Its new investment will support manufacturing capacity and further adaptation of its systems for customers in Ukraine and NATO markets.
