Lithuanian legaltech EnforceShield raises €1.7M to automate IP enforcement

Vilnius-based legaltech startup EnforceShield has raised €1.7 million in a seed round led by Vendep Capital, with participation from FIRSTPICK VC, as Vestbee was informed.

  • Founded in 2024 by Rytis Rudzinskas, EnforceShield develops an autonomous IP enforcement platform that detects, analyzes, and removes intellectual property violations across online platforms.
  • The company serves more than 20 enterprise customers and removes over 33,500 IP violations per month across its e-commerce client base.
  • Unlike software that only identifies potential infringements, EnforceShield is designed to automate the enforcement process, covering detection, legal analysis, validation, takedown execution, monitoring, and escalation.
  • Its "human-at-the-end" model involves legal teams primarily in reviewing outcomes, approving actions, or handling complex cases.

Details of the deal

  • The fresh capital will be used to expand the platform's enforcement capabilities, including workflows for escalations, repeat offenders, and more complex cases. EnforceShield also plans to support commercial expansion in the US, which currently accounts for up to 80% of its sales pipeline.
  • The company aims to expand beyond e-commerce and serve enterprise IP holders across sectors including technology, sports, media, and publishing.
