Freiburg-based VUSE XR, a software startup developing mixed reality training solutions for industrial and life sciences companies, has raised €1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by German business angel network Investment Advisory Club Düsseldorf (IACD e.V.).
- Founded in November 2023 by Niclas Matthias and Dr. Paul Matthias, VUSE XR develops the VUSE XR Hub, a platform that enables companies to create, manage and deploy mixed reality training experiences.
- Its software replaces bespoke, agency-led projects with a standardised workflow, allowing businesses to develop and update training content without lengthy production processes.
- The company already counts ZEISS, Witron, Hologic and Badenova among its customers. Its platform helps organisations train employees on complex products and processes without requiring physical equipment on site.
Details of the deal
- With the fresh capital, the firm aims to further develop its VUSE XR Hub platform, expand its AI-assisted training creation capabilities and accelerate commercial growth, enabling more industrial and life sciences companies to create, update and deploy mixed reality training across their operations.
