Paris-based Bleu Robotics, a startup developing AI software for industrial humanoid robots, has raised €5 million in a pre-seed round co-led by Contrarian Ventures and OVNI Capital, with participation from Kvanted, WEPA Ventures, Motier Ventures and technology investor Charlie Songhurst, as Vestbee was informed.
- Founded in 2025 by Benoît Berkoukchi, Jean-Baptiste Mouret and Serena Ivaldi, Bleu Robotics develops software designed to help humanoid robots learn industrial tasks with as few as ten operator demonstrations.
- Its approach aims to reduce deployment time from months to under one hour, allowing manufacturers to adapt robots to changing production requirements without extensive training data or coding.
- The company's technology uses an abductive learning model to infer the goals and constraints behind an operator's demonstrations, enabling robots to reproduce tasks while maintaining the explainability and accuracy required in industrial environments. The software is designed to work across different humanoid robot platforms.
Details of the deal
- The fresh capital will support the expansion of Bleu Robotics' research and robotics teams, as well as the deployment of its first industrial robot-learning models.
- The company is already working with two major industrial companies and plans to begin initial deployments with manufacturers in the automotive and consumer goods sectors. It is also building partnerships with robot distributors to expand the reach of its technology.
