Ukraine-based startup Huless, which manufactures adaptable drone platforms for military and civilian use, has raised $1 million in private, loan, and grant funding.
- Founded in 2023, Huless develops universal drone platforms for military and civilian missions. Its designs incorporate real wartime experiences.
- The startup's flagship systems include the Highline-T, a tethered drone, and the Highline-S, a non-tethered variant, built for extended operations in challenging environments, including areas affected by electronic warfare.
- The Highline-T is a tethered drone that can fly for up to 4 hours at 100 meters without GPS. It stays connected by a cable that provides power, control, and data transfer, making it a reliable and flexible solution for military and civilian use.
Details of the deal
- The recent funding came from undisclosed defence-focused angel investors, alongside a state-owned bank loan and a grant from Brave1, a Ukrainian defence tech cluster co-founded by key government and military institutions.
"The raised investments will be directed toward creating an ecosystem of mobile military communications, where the key component will be Highline-T tethered drones developed by Huless," Brave1's team commented on LinkedIn.
- Huless will use the funding to enhance Highline-T tethered drones, develop a UAV-UGV mesh network, and expand its market presence in military communications.
"Every step we take is aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defence capabilities. Technology brings victory closer," Huless's team stated.
