Czech Republic-based firm grid.online has raised €4 million from DFF Ventures, Movens Capital) with participation from Reflex Capital, J&T Ventures, and angel investors linked to early teams at Wolt.
- Founded in 2025 by Ondřej Krátký and Patrik Raš, grid.online develops a neutral infrastructure layer for last-mile delivery that connects logistics operators with a shared network of independent couriers through a single API.
- Instead of operating its own delivery fleet, the company acts as a capacity platform that allows couriers, such as food couriers, taxi drivers, and other gig workers, to take on parcel delivery jobs from multiple clients, helping them earn more during off-peak hours while giving carriers flexible access to additional delivery capacity.
- Clients can plug into the system via API or web tools to scale deliveries up or down on demand, choose delivery speed and precision, and manage urban parcels of up to 15 kg across home, locker, and pickup-point delivery options.
Details of the deal
- The €4 million round will be used to grow grid.online’s operations by improving its technology stack, expanding its active courier base, and strengthening connections with logistics partners. It also supports the company’s move beyond its home market as it prepares to enter additional European countries.
