The Series C funding round was led by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, with participation from CDTI, COFIDES, and Nazca Capital.

The new Seaya Growth Tech Fund I saw support from the European Investment Fund (EIF), which contributed €300 million as the anchor investor.

After two years operating in stealth, the fund is now actively investing in science and engineering companies at the critical Series B and C stages to scale.

The round was led by MyInvestor to support BCAS’s continued growth and expansion.

The seed round was backed by TIN Capital, Kibo Ventures, and eCAPITAL.

The Series A was led by Cathay Innovation and Kfund’s early-growth fund Leadwind, with participation from Frontline Ventures, Seaya Ventures, and Shilling.

The new fund has appointed Enrique Domínguez, founder of Spanish hotel operator Gaiarooms, which manages over 100 properties and 1,500 rooms, as Head of Investment Strategy.

The investment was backed by First Drop VC, Urriellu Ventures, existing investors, and ENISA.
