Top CEE funding rounds closed in July 2025

Every month, Vestbee compiles a list of the most significant financial rounds closed in Central and Eastern Europe and the broader European region, providing details on each deal. Below is a list of startups from the CEE region that received funding during July. 

Lightyear, €20M in Series B

Location: Estonian-founded with HQ in London, the UK
Founded in: 2020
Total funding received: €50.6M
Recent funding sources: NordicNinja VC, Superangel, Specialist VC, Lightspeed, Skaala, Metaplanet, and business angels, including Markus Villig, Taavet Hinrikus

Lightyear offers a multi-regulated investment platform that enables retail investors across Europe and the UK to access global markets with low costs and minimal friction. The startup aims to use the proceeds to expand into new European markets, enhance its AI-powered investing tools, and develop fractional investing options for EU stocks

E2B, €18.1M in Series A

Location: Czech-founded with HQ in San Francisco, the US
Founded in: 2023
Total funding received: €27.6M
Recent funding sources: Insight Partners, Decibel, Sunflower Capital, Kaya VC, and angel investor Scott Johnston

E2B develops a secure, open-source cloud platform that allows AI agents to execute code and run complex workflows at scale. The firm will use the Series A funding to expand its engineering, product, and go-to-market teams based in San Francisco, as well as to accelerate the development of its sandbox platform.

SR Robotics, €8.4M  

Location: Katowice, Poland
Founded in: 2017
Total funding received: €8.4M
Recent funding sources: Vinci

SR Robotics, a Polish company specializing in underwater robots, raised €8.4 million in funding in July 2025. This investment is intended to scale the company's operations, expand its AI-powered fleet of underwater robots, and bolster its Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model. 

Liki24, €7.78M in Series A

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
Founded in: 2017
Total funding received: €16.4M
Recent funding sources: u.ventures, TA Ventures, iClub, SID Venture Partners, MA7 Ventures, N1 Ventures, Dnipro VC, and angel investor Anton Borzov

Liki24 connects consumers across Europe with pharmacies, drugstores, and health product suppliers through a centralized online platform. The firm currently operates in 10 countries. The new capital will fuel Liki24’s growth across more European markets while advancing its AI-powered platform.

Vok Bikes, €5M in Series A

Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Founded in: 2019
Total funding received: €11.4
Recent funding sources: SQM Lithium Ventures, Metaplanet, Specialist VC, Sunly, and SmartCap 

Vok Bikes, an Estonian startup pioneering four-wheeled electric cargo bikes for city logistics, has raised $6 million in a Series A round. The proceeds will be used to accelerate its expansion across Europe and push cities further away from van-based delivery systems. 

Blue Longevity Clinic, €2M 

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Founded in: 2024
Recent funding sources: Eleven Ventures, Sofia Angels Ventures, and several family offices

Blue Longevity Clinic is building a network of longevity centers in Southeast Europe, offering diagnostics, behavioral tools, and therapies like cryotherapy. The fresh capital will support team growth, therapy protocol scaling, and development of its AI diagnostics platform. The company also plans to open its first clinics in Athens, Istanbul, and Sofia in September.

Jälle Technologies, €2M in a pre-seed round 

Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Founded in: 2023
Total funding received: €3.4M
Recent funding sources: Kiilto Ventures, 2C Ventures, and private investors

Jälle Technologies develops recycling technologies that extract valuable metals from used lithium-ion batteries and convert waste graphite into graphene-like materials. The firm will use the €2 million funding to scale its pilot production, validate its recycling technology at an industrial level, and expand its team in Estonia

Paypercut, €2M in a pre-seed round

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Founded in: 2025
Total funding received: €2M
Recent funding sources: Tuesday Capital, RTP Global, Robin Capital, Passion Capital, Concentric, Angel Invest

Paypercut develops a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) aggregator platform that simplifies payment options for small and mid-sized businesses across CEE. The company will use the fresh €2 million funding to expand its platform by adding more BNPL partners and  localizing onboarding flows in additional languages. 

Clearly, €760k in a seed round

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
Founded in: 2021
Total funding received: €1.3M
Recent funding sources: Purple Ventures, Pragmatech Ventures, private investor Dmytro Orel, and €130,000 in non-equity grants

Clearly develops an AI-driven mental health platform that combines video sessions with licensed therapists, 24/7 AI companions, and standalone AI therapy. The firm will use the new capital to enter new markets, especially the US Spanish-speaking community and Brazil, boosХR&D, and expand its therapist network for global growth.

GREÏ, €650k in a pre-seed round

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Founded in: 2024
Total funding received: €650K
Recent funding sources: FIRSTPICK

GREÏ is a SaaS platform that connects to users existing cameras and systems to provide real-time operational intelligence. Using AI-powered detection agents, GREÏ helps companies identify safety risks, inefficiencies, and unexpected behaviors across sites, transforming surveillance data into actionable insights.

BrachyDOSE, €554k in a seed round

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania
Founded in: 2024
Total funding received: €694k
Recent funding sources: Coinvest Capital, BSV Ventures, and business angel networks LitBAN and EstBAN

BrachyDOSE develops a radiation dose measurement device used during cancer radiotherapy. With the fresh funding, the firm is finalizing CE and MDR certification to launch globally, expanding its team, and strengthening hospital ties to improve cancer radiotherapy.

SI Robotics, undisclosed pre-seed funding

Location: Warsaw, Poland
Founded in: 2024
Recent funding sources: Sunfish Partners

SI Robotics develops a fully European humanoid robotics platform focused on scalable manufacturing of robots capable of performing tasks in industrial and defense environments. The recent round will allow the startup to advance bionic actuator development, expand the engineering team, and set up early manufacturing in Poland.
