BRINC Drones, a drone-based technology firm, has secured $125 million in a Series D funding round led by Motorola Solutions, with participation from Index Ventures and Dylan Field.
- Founded in 2019 by Blake Resnick, BRINC develops drone systems and software platforms designed for public safety applications, including emergency response, law enforcement, firefighting, and search-and-rescue operations.
- The company’s autonomous and remotely operated drones help first responders collect real-time information from incident locations before reaching the scene.
- Its systems integrate high-resolution cameras, thermal imaging, communication capabilities, and flight automation to support remote assessment, decision-making, and emergency operations. The company also provides software tools for managing drone deployments, live video, communications, and mission data.
Details of the deal
- The funding will support BRINC’s expansion of domestic manufacturing, development of new products, increased production capacity, and scaling of operations to meet demand from public safety agencies.
- The company plans to use the investment to expand the deployment of 911 response drones at police and fire stations across the United States.
“Every second matters in an emergency. Our 911 response drones put eyes on scene before first responders arrive, giving everyone the situational awareness they need to act decisively and keep people safe. This investment enables our organization to build more products, expand our manufacturing capacity, and put a drone on the roof of every police and fire station in America," claims Blake Resnick, Founder & CEO of BRINC.
