Stockholm-based startup Opper AI, which builds a platform to make AI model outputs more reliable for business-critical applications, has secured €3 million in a pre-seed round. Investors include the backers of Lovable, one of Europe's fastest-growing AI startups, informs Sifted.
- Opper was founded in 2023 by Johan Gustafsson and Göran Sandahl, the co-founders of Unomaly, an AI startup they sold to LogicMonitor in 2020. While Unomaly focused on detecting subtle data signals, Opper aims to make AI more reliable and secure for critical business applications, building on the same core idea.

- Swedish VC Luminar led the pre-seed round. Spotify alumni fund Greens Ventures and Paris-based VC Emblem, which are backers of Lovable, a Swedish AI-powered app builder nearing a $2 billion valuation, also participated.
- Opper plans to develop its task completion platform to enhance AI reliability for critical business use, using the funding to build the product and expand its team.
