London's hospitality tech firm Inntelo AI secures £500k pre-seed round

London-based hospitality tech firm Inntelo AI, which develops an AI-powered platform that automates guest communication and improves hotel operations, has secured £500,000 in a pre-seed funding round.

  • Established in 2024 by Asif Alidina and Shahzain Badruddin, Inntelo AI develops an AI-powered concierge platform for hotels that automates guest communication via WhatsApp and phone, eliminating the need for apps or downloads.
  • The system utilizes conversational and agentic AI to handle guest inquiries, convert them into tasks, and assign these tasks to the relevantts, including hotel departmen housekeeping, maintenance, and room service.
  • This streamlines workflows, improves team coordination, and enhances the overall guest experience while providing multilingual, 24/7 support.
  • In 2024, Inntelo AI secured £120,000 in venture capital backing from Antler. This investment supported the development of its cutting-edge conversational AI platform, designed to revolutionise hotel operations by enhancing guest experiences and improving operational efficiency.

Details of the deal

  • The investment was led by Haatch and its partner, the British Business Bank, with participation from Look AI Ventures and several angel investors with backgrounds at companies such as Trip.com and DocuSign.
  • The startup will use the fresh funding to support ongoing customer deployments and enhance integration with property management systems. This will enable Inntelo AI to onboard more hotels and scale its AI-powered platform to improve hotel operations and guest experiences.

“Hospitality’s AI transformation must be led from within the industry. Too often, hotels have struggled to adopt new technologies because they were developed without real operational insight. We’re incredibly excited about this new era, where the hospitality sector can not only embrace technology earlier than ever before, but also lead the way for the wider real estate and service industries," claims Asif Alidina, co-founder and CEO of Inntelo AI.
