Oslo-based fintech startup Two secures €13M to revolutionize B2B payments

Oslo-based fintech startup Two, which provides AI-powered infrastructure for instant, trusted net-term payments in B2B commerce, has secured €13 million, bringing its total funding to over €40 million.

  • Founded in 2020 by Andreas Mjelde and Joachim Krüger, Two builds AI-powered infrastructure for B2B payments, enabling businesses to offer instant net terms at checkout across e-commerce, in-store, and direct sales channels.
  • By replacing manual credit checks and traditional invoicing with automation, Two leverages its proprietary AI engines, Delphi for real-time credit underwriting and Frida for fraud detection, to deliver fast, secure, and data-driven risk decisions.
  • The platform automates the entire order-to-cash process, including invoicing, payment collection, and dunning, helping sellers cut operational costs and serve more customers without assuming credit risk.
  • With a globally distributed team across 15 countries and offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Glasgow, and London, along with partnerships with major financial institutions like Allianz, Santander, and ABN AMRO.

Details of the deal

"We invested in Two because of the exceptional ambition and talent of the founding team. Two stands out through their combination of a powerful and modular software, deep understanding of the network effects in their industry and their dedication to solving a big problem. We believe they have what it takes to build a global category leader," Managing Partner at Idékapital, Kristian Øvsthus, commented.

  • With the fresh funding, the firm plans to deepen its footprint in the US market, expand into selected Western European markets, and scale its platform to serve large and global enterprise businesses, facilitating instant and trusted net-term payments wherever companies trade.

"This funding validates our network approach: every transaction teaches our AI who to trust, creating compound value for all participants. We will use the capital injection to scale with large and global enterprise businesses, and we’re excited to add strong institutional investors with a long-term investment horizon like Investinor and Idékapital to the team," claims Andreas Mjelde, CEO and co-founder at Two.
