German startup Paretos, which provides AI-driven decision intelligence solutions to help companies optimize complex operations and make data-driven decisions without needing in-house data science expertise, has secured €8.5 million in a Series A round. Acton Capital led the funding.

- Paretos makes advanced data-driven decision-making accessible to companies without in-house data science teams. Rather than relying on manual Excel analysis, businesses can use Paretos' forecasting and optimization technology to manage processes efficiently and meet modern economic demands.
- The startup claims that businesses using its solutions gain significant benefits, such as €3.5 million in savings on transportation and logistics, a 40% improvement in demand forecasting accuracy, and a tenfold increase in planning productivity.

- Wika, Goldgas, Bonprix, Otto Group, Accenture, and HelloFresh are among clients of Paretos.
Details of the deal
- The round was led by Munich-based VC Acton Capital. The firm has supported over 100 startups, including global leaders like AlphaSights, Clio, HomeToGo, and Mambu.

- The Series A round also saw support from UVC Partners, LEA Group, and renowned funds and angels, including Interface Capital, led by Niklas Jansen, Christian Reber, and Hannes Ametsreiter.
- Paretos will use the funds to accelerate growth, enhance its AI platform, and address urgent decision-making and operational efficiency challenges.
