Ghent-based sales tech startup Bizzy, which develops software that uses AI and company data to automate B2B lead generation, has raised €4 million in a round led by Fortino Capital.
- Founded in 2021 by Hendrik Keeris and Steve Declercq, Bizzy develops software that automates B2B lead generation. The platform leverages proprietary European company and contact data to identify, qualify, and enrich leads, enabling sales teams to focus on high-quality prospects.
- Bizzy’s AI-powered system analyzes market signals, such as hiring trends, funding events, and web activity, alongside CRM data to define a company’s ideal customer profile (ICP).
- The platform then recommends leads, enriches them with verified contact details and business context, and integrates them directly into sales teams’ workflows.
“Sales teams shouldn’t waste hours on building lead lists. We built Bizzy so they can focus on closing deals and solving real customer problems. This new AI Agent takes that vision to the next level by becoming a true co-pilot for every sales rep," co-founder of Bizzy, Hendrik Keeris, commented.
- The firm employs 35 people and uses data from over 34 million companies and 76 million professionals to support over 10,000 sales professionals and over 500 customers across Europe.
Details of the deal
- The investment was led by Fortino Capital, a venture capital firm based in Antwerp that invests in B2B SaaS, PaaS, and digital technology companies in Europe.
- Belgium-based Pitchdrive and several business angels also joined the round.
- The firm plans to use the fresh funding to accelerate the rollout of its AI-powered Sales Agent across Europe, scale operations in key European markets, and strengthen product development in AI and sales automation.
