Milan-based startup Webidoo secures €21M to accelerate European expansion

Webidoo has raised €21 million in a funding round led by the IXC3 fund, part of the Azimut Group, with participation from 8a+ (Banca Generali) and TIM Ventures.

  • Founded in 2017 by Giovanni Farese, Webidoo develops AI software designed to integrate and automate business operations for SMBs. Its platform is built around a suite of products including Jooice, Groow, and Welpy, which are used to coordinate marketing, sales, and operational workflows within a unified system.
  • The company positions its approach as a shift away from fragmented software stacks, instead offering a system that connects existing tools and enables automated execution across business functions.
  • Webidoo currently serves hundreds of SMBs in North America, with its Chicago office acting as its operational base for business development, account management, and research. The United States is expected to be its primary growth market in the next phase of expansion.
  • In 2025, the company reported more than $18 million in revenue and over $3 million in EBITDA, while continuing to invest in R&D and product development.

“The average small business runs 20 tools that don’t talk to each other. We’re not building tool number 21. We’re building the layer that finally makes them all work together,” said Giovanni Farese, CEO of Webidoo.

Details of the deal

  • The new capital will be used to scale its AI operating system, expand its product ecosystem, and support a targeted acquisition strategy focused on SaaS companies and marketing agencies. The aim is to integrate additional customer-facing and service businesses into its platform to strengthen distribution and functionality across its SMB base.
