UK-based healthtech firm 01Health, which develops a platform for delivering specialist healthcare services through local clinics, has secured $15 million in Series A funding led by Gresham House Ventures, with participation from Balderton Capital, Eka Ventures, Wavemaker360, and angel investors including Nicolas Cary.
- Founded in 2022 by Dr Sonia Szamocki, 01Health develops software that enables local clinics and practice groups to offer specialist healthcare services by providing a single platform for patient acquisition, appointment scheduling, clinical protocols, specialist oversight, treatment workflows, procurement, and operational management.
- The platform combines AI-powered patient engagement tools with standardized clinical processes and remote specialist support, allowing clinics to deliver treatments such as orthodontics and sleep medicine without building the required infrastructure themselves.
- It works by integrating patient communications, care pathways, specialist review, workflow automation, and performance tracking into one system that clinics can deploy to launch and manage specialist services.
Details of the deal
- The fresh capital will support the firm in launching its platform to external clinics, expanding across the UK, and entering the US market, while extending its use into additional specialist healthcare areas beyond its initial dental focus.
