Ghent-based e-invoicing platform Cashfeed, which automates invoicing and admin tasks to save time and reduce manual work for businesses, has secured €1.3 million in funding led by Pitchdrive, with backing from StarApps and support from VLAIO.
- Founded in 2025 by Dennis Verjans, Stijn Heuninck, and Maxim Vansteenkiste, Cashfeed develops an AI-based tool that automates invoicing, approvals, payments, and bookkeeping.
- The firm collects invoices from sources like email, Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, and PEPPOL portals. Approvals and payments happen in one click, and every transaction is automatically matched and forwarded to accounting software.
- The system also manages reminders, to-dos, and payment tracking, minimizing manual work and keeping administration current. It supports over 350 customers, including Baker Tilly Belgium, Aikido Security, and orderBilly.
“Our mission is to remove the friction from invoicing. SMEs and accountants waste hours each week on repetitive tasks, Cashfeed brings that down to minutes," claims Dennis Verjans, co-founder of Cashfeed.
Details of the deal
- Cashfeed’s €1.3 million funding round was led by Antwerp-based VC fund Pitchdrive, supported by Ghent's StarApps, and backed by VLAIO (Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship).
- Cashfeed plans to use the €1.3 million funding to accelerate product development focused on the Belgian market, especially to prepare for the 2026 e-invoicing mandate, and to expand its presence beyond Belgium as other European countries adopt similar regulations by 2030.
"This capital empowers us to accelerate product development, deepen our AI-driven automation, roll out even more integrations so entrepreneurs can pay and get paid instantly," claims Dennis Verjans, co-founder at Cashfeed.
