Brussels-based fintech Chift, which develops financial connectivity infrastructure for software companies, has raised €10.5 million in a Series A round led by BlackFin Capital Partners, with participation from existing investors Entourage Ventures, Shapers, Seeder Fund, and Wallonie Entreprendre.
- Founded in 2022 by Gauthier Henroz, Henry Hertoghe, and Matthieu Hertoghe, Chift develops financial connectivity infrastructure that helps software companies connect their products to accounting, invoicing, payment, POS, e-commerce, and other financial systems through a unified API.
- Its platform provides access to more than 150 financial tools through a single integration, allowing software providers to embed connectors, synchronize financial data, and automate workflows without building and maintaining individual integrations.
- Chift also offers AI-focused tools, including an MCP server that enables AI products and agents to interact directly with connected financial software.
- The firm currently works with more than 150 software companies, connecting over 50,000 businesses across 13 countries.
Details of the deal
- The fresh capital will support Chift’s expansion into additional European markets and the development of its AI capabilities. The company plans to build integrations that require less manual setup and enable AI products to access and work with financial data.
