- The equity round was supported by a mix of Spanish and international investors, including CDTI, a public entity under the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
“Our investment in Xoople reflects Spain’s commitment to innovation and technological sovereignty. What sets Xoople apart, even within our strong national portfolio of deeptech companies, is its potential to power enterprise AI systems in Spain and beyond," CDTI President and Secretary General for Innovation in the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, Teresa Riesgo, stated.
- AXIS, a venture capital manager wholly owned by Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), and Agencia Espacial Española, has also participated in the round.
- The €115 million funding will help Xoople expand its EarthAI technology, including growing its satellite constellation and improving its Earth Data services.
- The fresh capital will also support scaling up operations and enhancing AI-ready datasets for industries like agriculture, logistics, and finance.
“We are humbled and grateful that our investors and partners share our vision to develop and fuel the new era of EarthAI. In our volatile world, the ability to quickly detect and precisely understand changes on the Earth’s surface is more crucial than ever," CEO of Xoople, Fabrizio Pirondini, commented.
