Tallinn-based design-tech startup Flowstep, which helps teams design digital products faster using AI, has raised $2.6 million in a seed round to support US expansion, as Vestbee was told.
- Founded in 2023 in Tallinn by Matt Clannachan, Svyat Polishchuk, Sami Nieminen, and Kaarel Roben, Flowstep develops an AI-native platform that accelerates and enhances digital interface design for product teams.
- The platform supports early-stage ideation, wireframing, and UI creation through natural language prompts, aiming to augment, rather than replace, human creativity.
- Built on a stack that includes large language models, reinforcement learning, canvas-based editing, and proprietary computer vision, Flowstep can generate structured user flows and high-fidelity designs from a single prompt.
- Unlike tools that jump directly to code, Flowstep integrates earlier in the process, at the point where design intent and usability are shaped. Designers work on an infinite canvas with full control, able to iterate rapidly using AI suggestions or manual edits without needing to re-prompt.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by London-based VC firm Supernode Global, with participation from Adesso Ventures, Angel Invest, Dnipro VC, Iron Wolf Capital, and prominent angels.

- Flowstep will use the $2.6 million seed funding to expand its US market presence, hire key engineering talent, and develop enterprise-grade features such as enhanced security, governance, and compliance.
- Additionally, the investment will support scaling its AI platform, accelerating product development, and broadening its user base beyond beta to include product teams, design studios, and tech startups worldwide.
