CEE Startups Of The Month - May 2023

After looking at the diverse set of fascinating solutions featured in our April and March editions, the time has come to present you with a new round of hand-picked startups chosen throughout May.

As usual, we highlighted the most exciting startups from Central & Eastern Europe worth your attention - let’s find out what they’re all about!

ProperGate

The very first on the list, ProperGate is a smart delivery management system for supplies and materials on construction projects. As far as the problem goes, the larger the project - the larger the diversity and sheer amount of supplies needed to build them, which always grows complexity and reliance on the timely delivery of, and management of materials. Using ProperGate, the developers and suppliers can optimize all parts of the material logistics both on and offsite and thus - decrease friction and complexity of the process.

Immersive

A forthcoming startup on the list, Immersive is a hiring partner for growing businesses. Using the company's services, its customers can quickly deploy talent partners and sources to fill the hiring gaps of a drastically expanding organization. Consequently, the startup helps fill an important gap for companies experiencing high growth without having a sufficient recruitment workforce to handle it.

Mifundo

The next company from our selection, Mifundo is a platform providing access to credit products throughout various EU states. The main problem company works on is the friction in obtaining lending from a different EU country leading to a constrained selection of products to choose from. Using Mifundo, the banks can find consumers with appropriate risk profile while the customers can have a wider choice of services to choose from.

Tractor Parts

An up-and-coming startup on the selection, TractorParts is a marketplace for farmer equipment. Using the platform, users can easily identify the needed component, quickly find it on the platform, and then purchase directly from the producer, avoiding local shops with higher prices and limited stock. As a result, both the farmers and suppliers can have a more streamlined and easier way of replenishing and buying spare parts and equipment.

Smarter Diagnostics

Yet another startup from this month's batch, Smarter Diagnostics is a platform to help locate lower leg abnormalities in MRIs. More and more common among both amateur and professional athletes, lower leg injury diagnosis becomes ever more useful and in demand, while the medical staff can't keep up with the demand. Using Smarter Diagnostics, doctors can monitor more patients quicker and more affordable, enabling more people to experience the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.

Bitskout

The next company on the selection, Bitskout is a platform to automate data extraction across platforms and business tools. Using Bitskout, companies can avoid assigning tedious tasks to interns or the need to build in-house automation which consumes both time and the morale of the employees. As a result, businesses can save time and assign truly meaningful projects to the workforce, boosting morale and productivity to do truly meaningful work.

HearMe

The forthcoming startup on our list, HearMe is a mental health platform to address a growing mental health crisis. As far as the problem goes, not that many people speak up about having issues let alone reach out for qualified help. With HearMe, users can access the curated set of mental healthcare professionals both anonymously and through video, paid for by the employer. Consequently, the employees can receive proper and timely care while companies can enjoy having a more satisfied and productive workforce.

Sagenso

An up-and-coming startup on our selection, Sagenso is a B2B cybersecurity platform. When using the platform, companies can constantly monitor both inbound and outbound internet traffic and check it for threats and potential security enhancements. As a result, Sagenso customers can systematically secure and protect critical infrastructure and applications easily and without much hassle.

EON+ AI

The next startup on the list, EON+ AI is a startup providing text-to-action AI bots. The startup builds on the recently-popularized LLM agents to allow internet browsing, work with files and execute other types of tasks with the goal of building a comprehensive desktop application capable of autonomously solving problems.

Feed Octopus

Last but not least, Feed Octopus is a feed marketing platform for e-commerce stores. The core problem product helps to address is that of underutilizing product information and in turn - promoting wrong products and decreasing the organizations' bottom line. Using Feed Octopus, companies can easily plug into the data warehouse, query, and take steps to ensure the promotion of the most profitable items.
