Lisbon-based Bloq.it, which develops smart lockers for deliveries and e-commerce, has raised €28 million in Series B funding. The investors in this round have not been disclosed.
- Established in 2019 by Miha Jagodic, Ricardo Carvalho, and João Lopes, Bloq.it develops smart locker technology aimed at improving last-mile delivery and e-commerce logistics.
- The company, with offices in Portugal, France, and Croatia, designs and manages end-to-end smart locker networks. Its systems combine proprietary hardware with software called Bloq.it OS, offering secure, self-service points for parcel pickup and drop-off.
- Bloq.it’s lockers are operational across key European markets and serve millions of users through partnerships with logistics and retail companies, including DHL, GLS, and Vinted Go.
"Bloq.it is at the core of the transition to out-of-home delivery all across Europe — despite our growth so far, there's a clear feeling that we’re just getting started," claims João Lopes, COO & CRO of Bloq.it.
- This year, Bloq.it ranked second on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a list of the fastest-growing private technology companies across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
- Bloq.it plans to use the Series B funding to rapidly expand its workforce, enter new European markets, and pursue strategic mergers and acquisitions.
- The investment will also support the scaling of its smart locker networks and the continued development of its technology platform, enabling deeper partnerships with key players in logistics and e-commerce across the continent.
“Our core goal remains to change the parcel delivery status quo. We’re accelerating a new standard for delivery: one that’s efficient, low-impact, and accessible to every logistics player in Europe," CEO of Bloq.it, Miha Jagodic, commented.
