Dutch startup ANTENNEX has secured €1.5 million in a seed funding round. It provides tools to measure and check how well antennas work with wireless connectors in over-the-air tests at very high frequencies.
- Founded in 2021 by Anouk Hubrechsen, Roel Budé, Teun van den Biggelaar, and Tim Stek, ANTENNEX emerged as a spinoff from the Eindhoven University of Technology. The company specializes in advanced, compact measurement systems that utilize reverberation-chamber technology for next-generation wireless applications in sectors like telecommunications, automotive, aerospace, and defense.
- ANTENNEX develops The Wireless Connector™, which integrates proprietary hardware with smart algorithms to simplify complex measurements. This product features a built-in calibration module and intuitive controls, providing a faster and more accurate alternative to traditional anechoic chambers. Operating in the 10–140 GHz range, The Wireless Connector™ is well-suited for advancing future technologies in wireless communication, autonomous radar, and sensing.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was supported by Value Creation Capital (VCC), a Bilthoven-based venture capital firm that invests in companies in deeptech, AI, and cybersecurity, alongside the Dutch VC Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM).

- Antennex will use the seed funding to scale operations, enhance its Wireless Connector™ product, and pursue international growth in key markets like telecom, automotive, and aerospace.
