White Star Capital closes $250M fund to back Series A and Series B startups

Global venture capital firm White Star Capital has announced the final close of its fourth fund at $250 million. The vehicle will invest in technology companies at Series A and B stages, helping founders expand internationally.

  • Founded in 2014, White Star Capital operates across New York, London, Montreal, Toronto, Paris, Milan, and Berlin, with a growing presence in the Middle East and Asia. The firm manages a portfolio of more than 100 companies and has completed 22 exits, including Dialogue Health Technologies — acquired by Sun Life, and Freshly — sold to Nestle.
  • Fund IV will continue White Star Capital's core global investment strategy, targeting businesses that use emerging technologies to solve real-world problems. Its areas of interest include foundational AI models, vertical AI applications, and physical AI.
  • The fund has already backed Sequen, Veesion, OatFi, AMI Labs, Tetrix, and Trayd. Together with its inaugural North American Seed Fund and several new special-purpose vehicles, White Star Capital has raised more than $350 million in fresh capital to invest from seed to Series B.
