Paris-based AI-powered consumer intelligence platform Verso has raised $6 million in a seed round led by Angular Ventures, with participation from Kima Ventures, 100IN, Olympe Capital, Sharpstone Capital, business angels, and startup studio Hexa.
- Founded in 2025 by Lydia Bellahouel and Camille Epitalon, Verso provides an AI-powered platform that conducts voice and video interviews with consumers and analyzes the responses to help companies understand consumer behavior.
- The platform manages the research process from study design and participant recruitment to interviews and automated analysis.
- The company says its technology enables businesses to conduct consumer research around 10 times faster and at a quarter of the cost of traditional research agencies, while reaching around 15 times more respondents. More than 30 companies, including Ferrero, Orange, and Michelin, use the platform.
Details of the deal
- With the fresh capital, Verso plans to expand beyond France, including into the US, integrate additional consumer data sources such as quantitative data and social listening, and develop access for AI agents. The company also plans to hire across engineering and go-to-market roles.
