Riga-based proptech startup Unitoq, which is developing a digital platform for investing in residential properties, has raised €155,000 in a pre-seed funding round backed by a syndicate of business angels, including members of the Latvian Business Angel Network (LatBAN).
- Founded in 2026 by Eduards Raudonis and Nikita Manija, Unitoq allows individuals to invest in residential properties starting from €100, with the potential to earn returns from rental income and property appreciation.
- The platform enables users to select individual properties, while professional operators handle tenant management and maintenance. Investors can monitor their portfolios and track investment performance online.
- Unitoq is currently undergoing the licensing process under the EU's European Crowdfunding Service Providers (ECSP) Regulation. Once authorised, the company will be able to offer its services across the European Union.
Details of the deal
- With the fresh capital, Unitoq aims to support its licensing process, prepare for the platform launch and introduce its first investment properties. The company expects to launch in early 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
