Kyiv-based firm Reface, which develops AI-powered tools for creating and transforming visual and video content, has raised $18 million in user acquisition funding from PvX Partners.
- Established in 2019 by Anton Volovyk and Dmytro Shamutylo, Reface is a product company that develops AI-based tools for consumer content creation.
- The company applies machine learning and deep learning technologies to build and operate a portfolio of mobile and web applications focused on image, video, and animation editing, including face swapping, image animation, and style transformation, serving millions of users globally across entertainment and creative use cases.
Details of the deal
- The round was supported by PvX Partners, a financial services platform that provides non-dilutive user acquisition capital by co-investing in sales and marketing and sharing in the value of newly acquired users up to a capped return.
- The fresh funding will accelerate user acquisition and fuel faster scaling of Reface’s AI-powered products globally.
