Frankfurt-based cyber threat intelligence company QuoIntelligence has secured an investment from Christian Lindner, former German finance minister, through his Beteiligungsgesellschaft. The investment follows the company's €7.3 million Series A round completed in April 2026, as Vestbee was informed.
- Founded in 2020 by Marco Riccardi, QuoIntelligence provides cyber threat and risk intelligence to organizations without dedicated in-house security teams. Its Mercury platform combines digital risk protection, cyber threat intelligence and analysis of geopolitical, physical and compliance risks.
- The company operates with analysts based in Germany, Italy and Spain, while keeping customer intelligence data within the European Union. Its clients span transportation, manufacturing, finance and retail, as well as EU institutions.
- In 2025, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) awarded QuoIntelligence a four-year contract worth €1.4 million to provide cyber threat intelligence services following an open tender.
- QuoIntelligence was named Europe's Most Promising Cybersecurity Startup 2026 by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). Its services also help organizations address regulatory requirements under the EU's NIS2 Directive and Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
Details of the deal
- The €7.3 million Series A round was backed by Elevator Ventures, BMH, eCAPITAL and Mercurius. The financial terms of Lindner's separate investment were not disclosed.
“QuoIntelligence combines human expertise with AI-driven technology in an area where demand is growing rapidly. I am pleased to support the company as an investor in its next phase of European growth," explains Christian Lindner.
- The company plans to use the investment to scale its European cybersecurity business and strengthen its position in the cyber threat intelligence market.
