German SaaS startup Plancraft secures €38M Series B led by Headline

Hamburg-based Plancraft, which develops AI software for construction and trade businesses, has raised €38 million in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to over €50 million.

  • Established in 2020 by Julian Wiedenhaus, Alexander Noll, and Richard Keil, Plancraft develops a voice-driven, AI-powered platform that digitizes construction and trades management.
  • The firm streamlines project planning, communication, and documentation, offering tools for handling offers, invoices, work orders, planning boards, and centralized project folders.
  • Teams use Plancraft to manage projects in real time, track progress, update work orders, and store documents digitally, significantly reducing administrative tasks.
  • As of 2025, Plancraft employs over 100 people and serves more than 20,000 customers across 11 European countries.

Details of the deal

  • Headline, a global VC with investments in Sonos, Bumble, and Sorare, led the Series B round. Existing investors, including CreandumHTGF, and xdeck, also participated.
  • Plancraft’s €38 million Series B will fund AI-driven, voice-first software upgrades and expansion into Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy to build a unified pan-European platform for tradespeople.

We're accelerating our European expansion by doubling down on local teams in Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy, ensuring our culture of togetherness is felt in every location outside our Hamburg headquarters. This commitment reflects our mission to transform Europe's entire construction and trades sector," CEO and founder of Plancraft, Julian Wiedenhaus, commented.
