Berlin-based startup Passionfroot, which develops a marketplace connecting B2B creators with brands, has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors including Creandum, Supernode Global, and s16vc. The round brings Passionfroot’s total funding raised to more than $21 million.
- Established in 2021 by Jen Phan and Patricia Wehner, Berlin-based Passionfroot develops an AI-powered B2B creator marketing platform that helps companies discover relevant creators, manage partnerships, execute campaigns, process payments, and measure performance from a single platform.
- The startup aims to address the growing demand for creator-led marketing among B2B companies, as businesses increasingly turn to trusted experts, newsletters, podcasts, and professional communities to improve brand visibility in a more crowded software market driven by AI.
- Passionfroot combines a creator marketplace with an AI agent called Zest, which helps marketing teams plan campaigns, identify suitable creators based on audience fit and performance data, automate outreach, coordinate collaborations, manage payments through an integrated wallet, and analyse campaign results across platforms.
- The platform also uses a proprietary creator graph built from data across thousands of campaigns to match brands with relevant creators and provide insights into campaign effectiveness.\
- According to the company, Passionfroot has grown its revenue 13x over the past year and has worked with customers including ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer, and Gamma. The startup has also facilitated more than $10 million in payments to creators over the last 18 months.
Details of the deal
- The fresh capital will support Passionfroot’s expansion into the US and Latin America, including the opening of offices in New York and São Paulo, while helping the company grow its team and continue developing AI-powered tools for brands and creators.
- The funding will also be used to enhance features that help companies measure creator campaign impact, including how brands appear in AI-generated search results and answers, as well as tools designed to support creators with monetisation strategies and content development.
