Edinburgh-based AI firm Mapify secures funding to transform logistics and asset management

Edinburgh-based logistics tech company Mapify, leveraging AI to optimize asset management and reduce downtime, has secured funding from Antler’s Spring Residency in London as the sole Scottish startup in its £1.7 million investment, as Vestbee was informed.

  • Established in 2025 by Hamish Geddes and Selby Cary, Mapify develops an AI-powered visual asset management platform for logistics, warehousing, and industrial operations. The platform converts spreadsheet data into interactive maps, diagrams, and dashboards, allowing real-time monitoring of assets, sites, and activities.
  • Mapify’s AI helps organizations reduce unplanned downtime by up to 50%, make decisions ten times faster, and increase profitability by up to 20%. Users can automatically detect and resolve scheduling conflicts, plan maintenance using historical data, track revenue and costs per asset, and search for information in natural language.
  • Early clients report saving 20 hours per user per week and generating over £100,000 in value per organization annually. Designed for both SMEs and large enterprises, the platform centralizes operational oversight, compliance, and asset management in a single visual interface.

Details of the deal

  • Antler, a global venture capital firm that invests in startups across six continents, recently closed its second Nordic fund, valued at around €100 million.
  • As part of its Spring Residency in London, Antler invested £1.7 million in 14 AI-driven startups during an eight-week program that attracted over 90 founders, including backing for Mapify.

“Mapify is exactly the kind of company we look to back at Antler. This is a world-class team solving a massive logistics problem for any business with significant real-world assets. They also have an exciting product roadmap to deliver more features that should deliver not just instant savings but also significant unrealised revenue over time. Hamish and Selby have the rare mix of vision and execution that can make Mapify a category leader," General Partner at Antler, Jed Rose, commented in a press release.

  • With the fresh capital raised, the firm aims to accelerate product development, roll out advanced AI features like the conflict resolution engine, expand its client base, and strengthen its team and infrastructure to deliver real-time insights and more efficient asset management.

“Partnering with Antler in their new cohort is further validation of the problem we’re solving and the results we’re already delivering. Logistics downtime costs the global economy billions, and our mission is to put powerful, easy-to-use tools into the hands of every logistics manager to reduce that burden," claims Hamish Geddes, CEO of Mapify.
