Stockholm-based firm Nordic Knots, a home textiles company specializing in rugs, curtains, and bedding with Scandinavian-inspired designs, has secured $100 million in fresh funding, valuing the company at $2.2 billion.
- Established in 2016 by Liza Berglund Laserow, Fabian Berglund, and Felix Berglund, Nordic Knots is a home textiles company specializing in rugs, curtains, bedding, and decor. The firm designs products in its Stockholm atelier and handweaves them in India using wool, linen, and jute.
- All production follows the GoodWeave™ program, ensuring fair labor practices, and the company enforces a Supplier Code of Conduct covering labor, environmental responsibility, and ethical sourcing. Nordic Knots operates mainly through e-commerce, with offices in Stockholm and New York.
Details of the deal
- The funding round was supported by Imaginary Ventures, Creades AB, IRIS Ventures, and angel investor Lauren Santo Domingo.
- Nordic Knots aims to accelerate international growth, targeting major cities with new flagship stores to showcase its design-led home products. The capital will also support expansion of its product range, including rugs and home textiles, increase production capacity, and strengthen marketing and brand visibility across Europe, the US, and other strategic markets.
- Additionally, the investment will help the company optimize its supply chain and ensure sustainable, fair manufacturing practices, reinforcing its position as a premium yet accessible interiors brand.
