Danish defence-tech investors Final Frontier and Myriad Venture Partners are joining forces under the Final Frontier brand and targeting €100 million for a new fund focused on early-stage defence technology across the New Nordics and Ukraine.
- Founded in late 2024 by former Seed Capital general partner Niels Vejrup Carlsen, Final Frontier launched its first €4.5 million fund in May 2025. The fund was backed by investors and industry leaders including former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
- Myriad Venture Partners launched in August 2025 as an early-stage New Nordic defence fund. Its team includes operators such as Alexander Aghassipour, who helped scale Zendesk to a $1.7 billion IPO and later acquisition, and Klaus Nyengaard, who grew Just Eat from 35 employees to a category-defining IPO.
- The new Final Frontier Fund II will invest at the pre-seed and seed stages, with a first close expected by the end of 2026.
- The combined platform brings together Final Frontier’s defence-sector expertise with Myriad’s network of Nordic founders and operators. Together, the firms have backed 15 companies.
- With the new fund, Final Frontier aims to help founders develop products, access specialist expertise, scale their organisations, and navigate complex defence procurement processes.
