Paris-based venture capital firm Elaia has secured €120 million for its fifth Digital Venture Fund.
- Founded in 2002, Elaia is a European full-stack venture capital firm managing approximately €850 million in assets under management, with over 100 investments, 3 companies scaled from seed to unicorn, and around 80 exits.
- The firm invests in tech and deep tech startups from inception through growth stages, backing ambitious B2B technology founders with both capital and hands-on operational support.
- Through its joint venture Lazard Elaia Capital, it supports companies at any stage of development. With offices in Paris, and Barcelona., Elaia’s portfolio includes companies such as Criteo, Mirakl, Shift Technology, AQEMIA, and Alice & Bob.

- The new fund aims to back early-stage European B2B technology companies from pre-seed to Series B, investing €1 to €15 million per company and supporting them in scaling into category-leading businesses across sectors such as AI, cybersecurity, techbio, industrial innovation, and digital infrastructure.
- DV5 has made its first investment in Zurich-based Mimic Robotics, a company developing physical AI technology, in line with the fund’s focus on advanced tech companies emerging from European innovation hubs.
- Elaia’s Digital Venture Fund V was supported by Bpifrance, via France 2030 and the Spark fund, MACSF, BNP Paribas, SMABTP, Arundo Re, Groupe AG2R LA MONDIALE, with support from Lazard Frères Gestion.
