London-based cybersecurity SaaS startup Cyb3r Operations, which helps organisations detect, assess, and manage third-party cyber risks in real time, has raised $5.4 million, bringing its total funding to $6.75 million, in a round led by Octopus Ventures, as Vestbee was told.
- Founded in 2021 by Vincent Cook, Cyb3r Operations provides continuous visibility into third-party and supply-chain risks. Its platform automatically maps suppliers, SaaS tools, and shadow IT, then applies AI-driven analytics to assess risk across financial, operational, and compliance dimensions.
- The system continuously monitors external threats, insider activity, and compromised entities, generating real-time alerts and actionable insights.
- Organisations can prioritise critical exposures and automate responses through integrated workflows, enabling proactive management of cyber risk across their extended ecosystem.
Details of the deal
- The investment was led by Octopus Ventures, a founder-focused VC firm backing purpose-driven startups from pre-seed to Series A across sectors including B2B software, fintech, health, climate and deep tech, with follow-on investment from Pi Labs.
- Cyb3r Operations plans to use the fresh funding to scale its platform, deepen its threat intelligence capabilities, and expand support for organisations managing third-party and supply-chain cyber risk, enabling them to continuously detect, assess, and respond to evolving threats across their growing networks of suppliers, SaaS tools, and cloud services.
