Prague-based SaaS startup Choice has raised $7.1 million in a Series A round led by Alea Capital Partners, taking its total funding to $11.6 million, as Vestbee was informed.
- Launched in 2018 by Alex Ilyash, Robert Novosad, and Volodymyr Olyanitsky, Choice provides a cloud-based platform for restaurants that integrates ordering, reservations, loyalty programs, and marketplace connections. It collects data from customer interactions and uses AI to automate marketing, optimize promotions, manage reviews, and support operational decisions. Key features include:
- Website builder with custom domain
- Takeaway and delivery ordering without commission
- QR menus, payments, and ordering
- Reservation management linked to Google
- Integrations with marketplaces (Wolt, Bolt Food, Foodora, Glovo, Uber Eats, Just Eat Takeaway)
- Loyalty programs across channels
- POS/EPOS system compatibility
- AI-powered tools for marketing and operations decisions
- To date, the firm has 30,000 registered restaurants, including 7,000 paying customers across nine Central and Eastern European markets, processing 1.5 million monthly orders worth about €35 million in GMV.
Details of the deal
- The Series A round was led by Alea Capital Partners, a Lisbon-based firm that invests in alternative living, industrial consolidation, and B2B SaaS companies, with participation from Reflex Capital, Smartlink, and J&T Ventures.
