New York- and London-based Ascentra Labs, a developer of AI tools for consultants and corporate strategy professionals, has secured $2 million in seed funding round, as Vestbee was told.
- Founded in 2024 by Paritosh Devbhandari and Oliver Thurston, Ascentra Labs develops AI-driven software designed for consultants and private equity professionals.
- The platform automates repetitive consulting tasks, including commercial due diligence, survey analysis, and data preparation, allowing users to focus on critical thinking and interpretation rather than manual data processing.
- Analysts can run automated analyses, visualize insights collaboratively, and export client-ready deliverables in Excel or PowerPoint formats with live, auditable formulas.
- The system maintains accuracy and transparency while supporting multi-user collaboration and secure handling of sensitive data.
Details of the deal
- The round was led by NAP, formerly Cavalry Ventures, with participation from notable angel investors including Alan Chang, CEO of Fuse and former CRO of Revolut, and Fredrik Hjelm, CEO of Voi.
“While most knowledge work has been reshaped by new technology, consulting has remained stubbornly manual. The Ascentra team combines deep industry understanding with technical mastery to finally change that. AI won’t replace consultants, but consultants using Ascentra might," claims Stefan Walter, co-founder and Managing Partner at NAP.
- Ascentra Labs will use the new funding to expand its suite of AI products, strengthen its engineering team, and accelerate its growth in the US market.
- The investment will support the company’s push to build more tools that automate core consulting workflows and scale adoption among major consulting and private equity firms.
