Notable funding rounds across the EU:

  • French business planning platform Pigment has closed a $145 million Series D funding round led by ICONIQ Growth.
  • Stockholm-based Scayl, a debt financing platform founded by ex-VC, fintech and senior financial services executives, has raised €100 million.
  • French tech startup BlaBlaCar has raised €100 million in a debt financing round from BNP Paribas and Société Générale, Citi, JP Morgan, and HSBC. 
  • The UK startup Luminance has raised $40M for its Series B round led by March Capital.
  • French Fluid Topics, a digital platform for automated customer service, has raised a €15 million Series B round from Kennet Partners.
  • Oriole Networks, a startup using light to train LLMs a hundred times faster with only a fraction of power, has raised €11.6 million in seed funding.
  • London-based property technology startup Coadjute has received £10 million investment from Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide, NatWest, and Rightmove.
  • French climate data startup Iceberg Data Lab (IDL) announced the first close of its Series A, raising $10 million.
  • WASE, a UK-based startup that develops waste-to-energy technology, has raised over €9.9 million, including €2.8 million in non-dilutive funding. 
  • Swedish Telness Tech that develops software for user interface design automation, has raised €5 million for scaling into the US.

CEE startup funding rounds & acquisitions:

  • Supersimple, a data-based search tool, has raised $2.2 million in a pre-seed funding led by Tera Ventures, Specialist VC, Tiny VC, as well as various angel investors.
  • Czech fintech Flowpay has closed its latest €2.1 million seed funding round from Techstars, Soulmates Ventures, DEPO Ventures, as well as business angels. 
  • Type-safe serverless platform Genezio has raised €1.8 million. The round was led by Gapminder Ventures, with participation from Underline Ventures and a group of angel investors.
  • Tallinn-based UX copilot Flowstep has received a €1 million grant to speed up the improvement of its AI. The grant was provided by Enterprise Estonia.
  • Vienna-based Syntropic Medical has secured seven-figure in its recent funding round to develop non-pharmaceutical treatment options for psychiatric disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
  • Ukrainian travel startup Eurotrips has raised a €260,000 investment round led by the UK travel holding Day 8.

Ukrainian AI platform Mantis Analytics has raised $50,000 in a pre-seed round coming from ZAS Ventures.
