TOP CEE Funding Rounds Closed In January 2023

Today, we're taking a deep dive into the most interesting CEE fundraising rounds in January 2023, the first month of the new year. This time around, investors were particularly interested in software, artificial intelligence, fintech, healthcare, information technology and SaaS.

Let's take a look at the top ten startup funding rounds in Central and Eastern Europe in January!

AMPECO

AMPECO, founded in Bulgaria in 2018, offers a white-label and hardware-agnostic EV charging management platform that allows big EV charging providers to establish and develop their business operations under their brand. AMPECO works with approximately 110 charging network operators in 45 markets. BMW i Ventures, Cavalry Ventures, and LAUNCHub Ventures just invested €12.1M during their series A round.

Oxipit, a Vilnius-based firm founded in 2017, is a computer vision software startup specialising in medical imaging. Using artificial intelligence, they aim to address the global shortage of radiologists and improve diagnostic quality. With a team of award-winning data scientists and physicians, the company aims to bring innovative Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning breakthroughs to everyday clinical practice. They recently secured €4.5M in funding from Coinvest Capital, Practica Capital and Taiwania Capital Management Corporation.

3Soft

They recently raised €4.2M from Cezary Smorszczewski, Warsaw Equity Group.

Salv covers screening, monitoring, and risk assessment to detect criminal behaviour and streamline internal processes. The company recently raised €4M in its seed round from Andrew Prozes, ff Venture Capital, Fly Ventures, Giesecke+Devrient Ventures, Maximilian Tayenthal, Passion Capital, Rain Lõhmus, Seedcamp, Sten Tamkivi, Superangel, Taavi Kotka and United Angels.

Filuta AI

Czech Founders VC, EIC Fund, Nation 1 and SPM Invest recently invested a total of €2.3M in the company during their pre-seed round.

INKsearch.co
