London-based HR tech startup Metaview, which uses AI to streamline and enhance every stage of the hiring process, has raised $35 million in a Series B funding round led by GV (Google Ventures).
- Founded in 2018 by Shahriar Tajbakhsh and Siadhal Magos, Metaview develops AI-driven tools to streamline the recruitment process.
- Its platform automates key hiring tasks, including interview note-taking, job description creation, candidate data analysis, and performance reporting.
- Integrating with widely used recruiting systems, Metaview captures and organizes hiring data to enable faster, more consistent decision-making.
- The company supports over 3,000 customers, has processed more than 3 million conversations, and has raised $50 million across four funding rounds.
Details of the deal
- The Series B funding round was led by GV (Google Ventures), a venture capital firm managing over $10 billion in assets and more than 400 active portfolio companies across North America and Europe.
- The round also saw support from Plural, Vertex Ventures US, Seedcamp, Coelius Capital, and True Equity . Business angels Victor Riparbelli and Barney Hussey-Yeo also joined the round.
- The plan is to accelerate growth by tripling the team, opening a new office in San Francisco, launching a suite of AI recruiting agents, and expanding the 10x Recruiting community.
"We’re ready to build the go-to platform for companies going all-in on AI-first hiring strategies. This new capital means we can move faster toward what we’re here to do: re-build hiring with AI at the core," Metaview's team, commented on LinkedIn.
