London- and San Francisco-based Throxy, a fully managed outbound sales service for companies targeting hard-to-reach industries, has raised $6.2 million in a seed round, as Vestbee was told.
- Launched in 2023 by Pablo Jiménez de Parga Ramos, Bergen Merey, and Arnau Ayerbe, Throxy is an outbound growth partner that helps companies selling into traditional industries reach hard-to-access buyers.
- The firm provides a fully managed outbound sales service that combines proprietary data, custom-built technology, and human expertise to identify and engage prospects often invisible to conventional sales tools.
- Throxy builds tailored lead databases, crafts personalized outreach, manages replies, and books qualified meetings for clients’ sales teams, allowing them to focus on closing deals while the platform handles time-consuming prospecting.
- Clients report up to 84% positive reply rates and more than 15 hours saved per week on outbound tasks. Operating with a team of three, Throxy has reached $1.5 million in ARR and plans to increase headcount nearly fivefold following its graduation from Y Combinator’s Spring 2025 cohort.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by Base10, a San Francisco-based venture capital fund backing purpose-driven founders and companies transforming the Real Economy, with participation from Y Combinator.
“Throxy isn’t another AI sales tool. It’s an execution layer for growth in industries tech often forgets, which resonates strongly with our thesis on backing founders building for the 99%. We’re proud to be partnering with Throxy, a company delivering real outcomes, not just activity," claims Rexhi Dollau, General Partner at Base10 Partners.
- With the fresh capital, Throxy plans to expand its team, accelerate growth across the UK and US, and scale its fully managed outbound sales service to reach more clients in traditionally hard-to-access industries while delivering measurable results.
