Prague-based company Resistant AI, which detects document and transaction fraud using AI, has raised a $25 million Series B funding round, led by DTCP Growth, to expand its fraud detection and transaction monitoring services into new markets.
- Launched in 2019 by Martin Rehak, Resistant AI develops artificial intelligence models for detecting document fraud and monitoring financial transactions.
- The company’s technology analyzes submitted documents, transaction data, and customer behaviors to identify fraudulent activity, including forged documents, synthetic identities, money laundering, account takeovers, and APP fraud.
- Resistant AI offers two main products: Resistant Documents, which verifies the authenticity of documents such as IDs, bank statements, and utility bills, and Resistant Transactions, which enhances existing transaction monitoring systems with AI models designed to detect complex financial crimes.
- The solutions can be used manually via a drag-and-drop interface or integrated automatically through APIs, providing rapid fraud detection without replacing existing fintech infrastructure.
Details of the deal
- The Series B was led by DTCP Growth, a global investment firm backing AI-driven enterprise software and digital infrastructure companies, with participation from Notion Capital, Google Ventures (GV), and Experian.
