French healthtech SaaS startup La Fraise has raised $3.5 million in a seed round to expand its AI platform that streamlines dental administration and patient communication across Europe.
- La Fraise was launched in 2025 by Arnaud Assous, Cédric Turquem, Florian Duchêne, Matthieu Kern, and Victor Schubert. The company develops an AI-driven software platform for dental practices that automates administrative workflows, including generating and following up on quotes, handling insurance procedures, managing financing options, and securing electronic signatures.
- The system communicates directly with patients to clarify treatment plans, provide cost estimates, send reminders, and guide them through insurance and payment processes.
- La Fraise integrates with existing dental software, allowing practices to maintain current workflows while reducing manual administrative tasks and increasing treatment-plan acceptance rates.
“We have brought together an exceptional team to fight against the abandonment of care. Healthcare providers spend too much time on administrative work. AI can finally give them that time back to care for patients," claims Arnaud Assous, co-founder of La Fraise.
Details of the deal
- The seed round saw support from 20VC, Seedcamp, Kima Ventures, and a group of dentists, with additional backing via a loan from Bpifrance.
“Arnaud, Florian, Cedric and Matthieu have seen firsthand what it takes to build one of the largest verticalised software businesses in Europe, given their crucial roles at Doctolib. They complement that unique insight with relentless innovation, execution, and entrepreneurial drive. We’re thrilled to be backing them as they build the AI native Operating System in Healthcare," explains Felix Martinez, Partner at Seedcamp.
- La Fraise will use the €3.2 million to expand its AI tools, improve automation for administrative tasks, patient communication, insurance processes, and financing, and scale its platform to more dental practices, helping reduce care abandonment and increase treatment-plan acceptance.
