Berlin-based firm Midas, which develops infrastructure for on-chain investment products, has secured $50 million in a Series A funding round led by RRE Ventures and Creandum.
- Launched in 2024 by Dennis Dinkelmeyer, Fabrice Grinda, and Romain Bourgois, Midas builds infrastructure for on-chain investment products that tokenize both traditional and crypto-based strategies. The platform converts institutional strategies into digital tokens with verifiable Proof of Reserves and instant redemption capabilities.
- Its Open Liquidity layer, powered by Midas Staked Liquidity (MSL), enables immediate settlement without counterparty risk, while each token functions as a composable DeFi primitive integrated with protocols such as Morpho, Pendle, and Curve across multiple blockchains. The Midas Attestation Engine provides continuous on-chain verification of allocations, portfolio value, and protocol exposures.
- Since launch, Midas has issued over $1.7 billion in assets, distributed more than $37 million in yield, and reached a TVL above $500 million with over 20,000 token holders. The platform supports live integrations with major DeFi protocols and hosts a growing number of institutional strategy deployments.

- The Series A also saw participation from Framework Ventures, HV Capital, Ledger Cathay, North Island Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Franklin Templeton, and GSR.
