Kazimi secures €2.2M to tackle bot activity in mobile marketing

Berlin-based mobile cybersecurity startup Kazimi has raised €2.2 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed funding round led by Market One Capital, with participation from IBB Ventures.

  • Founded by Andreas Naumann, Kazimi develops privacy-preserving security technology that helps mobile app developers secure first-party data, verify app-generated signals, and distinguish genuine users from bots and other fraudulent activity.
  • The company’s technology uses cryptographic proofs without relying on personally identifiable information (PII), enabling developers to detect non-human activity while preserving user privacy.
  • Kazimi’s solution is already used by mobile gaming studios, rewards platforms, and fintech apps, addressing growing concerns around bot activity and data reliability in mobile marketing.

  • The round also attracted industry leaders, including Petri Hyökyranta, former Rovio CTO; Janne Peltola, former Supercell data scientist; Dilpesh Parmar; Adnaan Ebrahim of Wooga; and Erik Massmann, former CFO of Birkenstock Group and Sportradar.
  • The funding will be used to scale Kazimi’s technology and expand its presence in the global mobile advertising market.
