Polish firm Juo secures €4M to redefine physical-product subscription infrastructure

Warsaw-based startup Juo, which powers subscriptions for physical products, has raised €4 million in seed funding led by Market One Capital and Peak, bringing its total funding to approximately €5 million, as Vestbee was informed.

  • Launched in 2025 by Leszek Zawadzki, Alina Prelicz, and Paweł Tatarczuk, Juo develops infrastructure for managing subscriptions built around physical products. The company provides the software layer that handles subscription logic, integrations, billing, and customer interfaces for e-commerce businesses.
  • Its system allows developers to plug subscription features into any modern tech stack through APIs, SDKs, and prebuilt components, while operations teams manage plans, workflows, and customer changes without needing to write code.
  • Juo supports recurring payments through major providers and regional methods, and its platform is designed to work with established e-commerce tools such as Shopify’s Hydrogen, Medusa, commercetools, PrestaShop, and Shopware.
  •  At its core, the company builds the underlying infrastructure that automates ordering cycles, pricing models, and subscription management for brands selling physical goods.

“Many businesses today don't realize they could be subscription-based, even though the model has expanded far beyond digital products. But the infrastructure and developer tools haven’t caught up. Physical-product subscriptions are far more complex  each with different products, pricing models, and ordering frequencies. Flexibility is crucial, and that’s what we provide. We’re building the backbone that powers these subscriptions as a core part of modern commerce," claims Leszek Zawadzki, co-founder and CEO of Juo.

Details of the deal

“Juo team has achieved remarkable international momentum, particularly in the Netherlands, one of Europe's most competitive and innovative e-commerce markets. Their ability to win over leading brands demonstrates clear product-market fit and shows they are ahead of the curve. We're thrilled to partner with them on building the platform and becoming the default infrastructure for physical-product subscriptions," explains Thijs Dijkman, Partner at Peak.

  • Juo will use the fresh funding to enhance its technology, broaden platform integrations, and improve tools for both developers and operations teams. The company also plans to add capabilities that allow AI agents to interact directly with subscription systems, strengthening its position as the infrastructure layer behind physical-product subscriptions.
