Germany- and Singapore-based VC firm GHARAGE Ventures has launched Fund I to invest in early-stage technologies shaping the future of global travel and retail, targeting companies from seed to Series A.
- Launched in 2026 by Lennard Niemann, Darren Soh, and Kilian von Berlichingen, GHARAGE Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on travel and retail technology. It invests in startups addressing operational inefficiencies, AI-driven workflows, and digital infrastructure.
- The firm connects founders with industry operators and decision-makers to test and scale solutions in real-world travel and retail environments. Its portfolio includes Bounce, Gumshoe AI, Soulhouse, ZOLO, FARO, Cube Asia, Neoke, GoZayaan, fileAI, and Daluma.
- The plan for GHARAGE Ventures’ Fund I is to invest €40 million globally in around 30 early-stage startups from Seed to Series A that focus on automation, AI-driven operations, travel tech services, digital infrastructure, and logistics innovations, aiming to digitize and improve efficiency in travel and retail.
- The fresh fund saw backing from Gebr. Heinemann as the anchor investor and support from other strategic partners in travel and retail. The fund is now open to further limited partners, offering exposure to early-stage technologies and the chance to trial solutions within operational travel and retail settings.
