Finbee Verslui raises €55M Debt facility to close Lithuania’s SME financing gap

Lithuanian lender Finbee Verslui has secured an increased senior secured credit facility from London-based private capital manager Pollen Street. The facility grows from €35 million to €55 million and builds on the partnership the two companies started in July 2024, as Vestbee was informed.

  • Founded in 2017, Finbee Verslui gives small and medium-sized businesses in Lithuania fast working capital loans. It uses its own credit models and a fully digital application process, so business owners can get a decision and funding within hours.
  • Since launch, the company has originated more than €180 million across 6,000+ loans to over 4,000 businesses, including more than €40 million in 2025 alone.
  • With the new capital, Finbee Verslui will raise its maximum loan size from €250,000 to €800,000. It will also offer longer terms and better pricing, so it can serve a wider range of businesses, including larger SMEs.
  • The deal comes as SMEs across Europe face tighter credit conditions. The ECB’s July 2026 Survey on the Access to Finance of Enterprises showed that the bank loan financing gap for SMEs widened to a net 5% of firms, up from 3%. Over the same period, large companies saw loan availability improve.

“Increasing it to €55 million means we can say yes to more entrepreneurs who need working capital to grow and support our existing customers as their needs get bigger,” said Tomas Mačiulaitis, CEO of Finbee Verslui.
