deltaVision raises €10.2M to scale spacecraft fluid systems and advance orbital refuelling technology

Munich-based SpaceTech firm deltaVision has secured €10.2 million in a Seed round led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital, with participation from Futury Capital, private industrial family offices, and additional investors through a newly established investment vehicle.

  • Founded in 2022 by Alex Plebuch, Denis Kiefel, and Matthias Günther, deltaVision develops fluid control systems for spacecraft, launch vehicles, lunar landers, and orbital servicing missions.
  • The company designs and manufactures components such as valves, pumps, pressure regulators, and fluidic subsystems that manage propellants, pressurants, and other fluids critical to space operations.
  • deltaVision’s systems enable precise fluid management for spacecraft propulsion and other mission-critical applications, improving reliability and performance in space operations.
  • The company is also developing technologies for in-orbit servicing and refuelling, including fluidic couplers, utility interfaces, and integrated refuelling modules designed to enable spacecraft to transfer and store propellants while in orbit.

Details of the deal

  • deltaVision plans to use the funding to scale production of its spacecraft fluid control systems, increase manufacturing capacity to 5,000 units annually, and accelerate the development of orbital refuelling technologies.
  • The company will also expand its research and production capabilities through its newly established French subsidiary and future US manufacturing operations, supporting its goal of enabling more serviceable, refuellable, and reusable spacecraft.
