Krakow- and San Francisco-based startup Skarbe, an AI assistant that automates sales for entrepreneurs who hate CRMs, has secured $600,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by FIRSTPICK, as Vestbee was informed.
- Founded in 2023 by Mikita Martynau and Alex Talyuk, Skarbe is an AI-powered sales assistant designed for founders, solo operators, and small B2B teams who want to avoid using traditional CRM software.
- Skarbe connects to email, calendar, and call tools to auto-log interactions and suggest next steps. It uses natural language and behavior signals to surface tasks and contacts, with no manual input needed.
- Its core functionality is delivered through a chatbot-style interface, allowing users to ask for things like meeting prep, a to-do list, or contact updates. Under the hood, the assistant extracts context from real conversations, learning from emails, recordings, and schedules to keep deals progressing.
- The tool replaces conventional sales software like spreadsheets and CRMs by automating administrative tasks, such as lead tracking, qualification, and communication, freeing users to focus on customer interaction.
- Currently, the firm serves more than 2,500 users and supports over 100 languages. Its freemium model allows new users to get started without setup or onboarding friction.
Details of the deal
- The fresh funding was led by FIRSTPICK, a Vilnius-based venture capital firm that invests in the Baltic tech startups from various sectors, including fintech, SaaS, deeptech, and consumer marketplaces.
“Skarbe tackles one of the most painful problems in modern work: staying on top of everything. The team behind Skarbe understands that AI should take care of everything but the essential human element, and that’s what’s made their product so successful out of the gate," Partner at FIRSTPICK, Dmitrij Sosunov, commented in a press release.
- UK-based VC firm Somersault Ventures and business angels Andreas Mihalovits and Jeroen Van Ermen also participated in the pre-seed round.
- Skarbe will use the $600,000 pre-seed funding to accelerate product development, expand its team, and enhance its AI assistant with features like automated lead qualification, a mobile app, and personalized AI models.
- The funding will also support user growth for its freemium offering, helping more founders replace spreadsheets and CRMs with a seamless, plug-and-play sales assistant.
“Skarbe is for founders who are already juggling product, customers, and hiring. Our users say it’s not just fast and flexible but emotionally liberating. This pre-seed round is fuel to the fire, and we’re grateful to our investors for throwing their weight behind what we’re doing," claims Mikita Martynau, CEO and co-founder of Skarbe.
